It didn't open because I moved the project into the folder. Once, I saved a project (as CD layout) in my desktop and later I created a folder for the same project but containing all the client information (waves, resamples, dither, etc). I've also noticed that when we zoom into wave we lose the option to work with fades… 's hard, it's hard…if you don't mind asking you this: which osx version do you have? But the bugs and no updates makes me think that I threw the money on the wrong one. Man, and I love the design and functionality.

So you must load a project, DONT DO ANYTHING and then export. It brings little "pop" in the first track. (Because when I'm exporting 2nd time, it's exporting and in the last stage it shows an "error with exporting")Īlso, unusable when you want to export the project and you. I can export only one time, then I must quit the app, reload project and export again. That should not happen! anytime, Ever.Īnd once again, still unusable when exporting. Ruined a lot of todays work! A F*CKING LOT. Loads all the regions, but none of the track markers. When I finnally quit the app I saw that my layout file damaged (actually DSP saved the file with its errors). I tried to save the project but I brought me errors and it was still "unsaved". Now I ruined a CD_Layout because of non-english letter inserted into the cd text info. I'm really sick of bugs that I have been seeing for over a year. I'll probably ditch DSP Quattro all together soon and get Sonoris DDP Creator for DDPi's. WaveBurner is the best I've found but you need to be aware of its issues, there are however workaround for most of them except DDPi export.
DSP QUATTRO NOT PLAYING FOR MAC
There really is not any great solution I am aware of out there for Mac for CD/DDPi assembly.
No processing, no fades, no SRC, no dither, just load an audio file into DSP Quattro, export and it won't null with the what was put in. I've had problems with DSP Quattro creating clicks at the track ID for cross faded tracks, and even more troublesome I've had audio exported from DSP Quattro not null with what was put in. Which I error check as thoroughly as I can. WaveBuner's DDPi export is buggy so if I need to make a DDPi I'll export the spaced and dithered 16/44.1 tracks from WaveBurner and load them into DSP Quattro with track spacing set to 0 to create the DDPi. I never use plugins in WaveBurner as that can cause issues. I use WaveBurner for track spacing, fade touch ups (its fade editor kind of sucks so I do fades in my pitch/capture DAW, Reaper), cross-fades, dither, metadata and burning. I've had a lot of issues with DSP Quattro too.
